GGs,
Here's the obiligatory Bio info...
I'm Jonathan Cunningham, and I've been lurking the list for a couple of
years now (although, I was peeping in on rec.the.woodwork for a while,
but those guys aren't really broadcasting on my frequency...if you know
what I mean). Seems about time I pipe up and join the band here
@oldTools.
I've been Galootin' for about 3 years now, getting better at it all the
time. While the gloatworthy scores are few and far-between, I have
managed to amass a servicable collection of users over this period.
Most recently I picked up a 110-pound museum-worthy chest of one British
man's tools (moulders and chisels mostly...some other odds-n-ends I'll
bore you all with later) from around 1850...but this is the rare
occasion for me. I'm usually bottom feeding around town, or perusing
the 'bay.
You can have a peep at my modest makings so far at
http://furniture.dawfun.com/. It's nothing grand, but it's a decent
record of what I've been doing.
When I'm not sharpening, or building, I'm enjoying my '70 bus, my '63
Thunderbird (http://www.seanet.com/~dawfun/tbird/) or my dogs
(http://www.dawfun.com/3dogs.jpg).
Anyway, that's enough for now. You'll learn more as time goes on, I'm
sure.
Enjoy,
Jonathan
