Today was the Jacktown Steam Engine Show 2018 Winter 2018 Flea Market.
After weeks of weather best described as brutal and a heavy snowfall on
Tuesday, today was a breath of spring with temps starting at 28F and
heading up to 45F. The grounds had been plowed for the most part so
walking wasn't too bad and there were a lot of vendors there.

Of course, one of the traditions of this show is the bonfire.

This is the back selling area. They don't open the regular flea market
field up for this show.

While there was lots to look at there, there sure wasn't much to buy,
especially small stuff. I did score some hammers, hand forged
blacksmith cross peen, straight peen also hand forged, another cross
peen, this one a little newer, a Bell System pointed peen hammer, and a
blacksmith shoulder peen hammer.

More rust. There is a small railroad track anvil, an early looking
blacksmith 8 sided drift punch, a blacksmith diagonal punch, an ATHA hot
cut chisel head, and a founders spoon.

Woodworking tools were scarce and were being grabbed as soon as they hit
the tables. I got an uncommon small Gladwin & Appleton smoother plane,
an early Spear & Jackson cross cut saw that is missing a few teeth and a
couple of nuts (reminds me of a few folks...) but the saw plate is clean
and the tote is fairly as well, a hammer poll hand adze head that
somebody power-washed, and an also uncommon double face stone mason
hammer head.

Not a great pile but it's more than I bought the past 4 weeks total.
