271937 "Eric Coyle" <ecoyle@t...> 2020‑10‑22 Help restoring a mf eggbeater.
Has anyone found a reasonable source for red plastic used in MF buck rogers
tools?

I need to fabricate some parts to restore an egg-beater. I'm not adverse to
melting down plastic stuff, but it is the color I'm concerned with.

Eric,

You already know that the translucent red plastic used on Miller’s Falls “Buck
Rodgers” tools is “Tenite”

Have you tried contacting the Eastman Corp.
https://www.eastman.com/Brands/Tenite/Pages/ProductList.aspx

My two cents is that at least MF “Buck Rodgers” hacksaws were also made with
opaque red plastic. They just don’t look as snazzy as the translucent ones.
