Howdy galoots

I've been kind of lurking/posting to rec.the.woodworking and now lurking here
for a short while and just found out about this bio business so here goes.

By day I'm a manager of eunichs sys admins in a Suburb north west of Detroit
MI., by night I'm a starting out wood wrecker.  About a year ago I finished
building my own house, and did all finnish carpentry myself (along with many
other things) which allowed me to throughly indulge my normite side. Over the
last six months (thanks to a long side job) I have obtained a delta
contractors saw, planer and jointer, dust collector and 10" band saw.

After making chips extreamly quickly, I now long for whispy thin curls
produced by sweat and an old tool or two.

My desire to learn more about and obtain a few planes (hoping to find 4,5,7)
got me lurking here.  My only purchase so far of a neander tool was a Stanley
93.

I've got the itch.  Hope it isn't fatal!
