Hello, I've decided to delurk, my my but this is a wonderful group of folks,
the collective knowledge here is awsome. I am 50 years young, Live in
southern Mississippi, and own and operate an unusual recyclying company. We
collect all the shrimp and crab shells, 32 million lbs last year, and dry
and grind them and sell the resulting meal for organic fertilizer, and lots
of other products. Seems most of my life I have been in recyclying, and
what is using old tools but that. I operate a small shoe repair shop on the
side, again recyclying. My hobbies include tearing down old heart pine
houses that no one wants, recyclying again. Every Sat. I work the log ramp
at my neighbors 1934 sawmill, 56 inch exposed blade, and we usually cut up
lightning struck trees, need I say it?? I work there for nothing but the
exercise and all the wood I want. I have a small collection of old tools,
and a lot of interest in them. I am definately a newby at woodworking, but
intend to learn from "the porch"
Since the area under there is already full, I'll just sit under the big oak
in the front, close enough to hear, but not intefer, thanks for listening.
