Fellow galoots,
In the great Oldtools tradition of reporting finished projects accompanied
by photos (no pictures, didn't happen), I submit my latest creation, an 18th
Century tavern table.

The base is poplar, with pinned mortise and tenon joinery, finished with
milk paint and an overcoat of beeswax. The top is curly maple for some
visual flair. As always, done with only hand tools.
You can find more details on the construction process at

site).
