Hi y'all, Been getting the Digest for awhile... and sure like it. My name is Larry Gelder, 46 yr old, and live in Aiken SC. I recently started woodworking, although I've been a fan of St Roy for years. I've taken a shaker end table class at John C Campbell and Make-A-Chair-From-A-Tree class from John Alexander. I have a few planes, drawknives, and spokeshaves. I currently work on the shaving horse or B&D workmate. I don't have a bench yet, but plan to make one. I do get together about once a week with couple of kindred spirits: retired gentleman, who is an excellent spoon and bowl carver, and a semi-retired certified galoot. These guys have been a real help to me. Been to one MWTCA met recently and saving sheckels to attend the Peach-Meet in February. Look forward to continue learning from y'all. Happy and prosperous new year to all! |

That might only result in more planes, and you sitting there watching them while your bank account empties on its own.
