Grandfather and father were both woodworkers on the Muncie, Indiana
farm (necessity and recreation) and I inherited a number of handtools,
but not the farm! The tools sat for years in display cases in my
office until I got the itch one day in the early 2000s.
Today I have a wonderful woodfloored shop with an assortment of
handtools and power tools to make furniture for our four granddaughters
and other projects for my wife and I.
I recently bought a small lathe and am enjoying turning very much.
Hand tools include 4 Disston split nut saws, a Stanley 36 plus the
usual Bedrock varieties (4,5,7); braces, bits and other flora and fauna
from over 100 years of family woodworking.
Best regards, Tom Hamilton
