Hi all,
Since the Porch's discussion occasionally meanders into smithing and
farrier's work, I guess the is still on topic. I'm probably never going
to be a blacksmith (that was my grandfather, who passed in the Winter of
'36). I'm doubly never going to be a farrier. So I don't need this book:
_Artistic Horse-Shoeing: A Practical and Scientific Treatise_, Prof.
Geo. E. Rich., M.T. Richardson Co, New York, 1890, 153 pages.
It's a good clean copy, especially given its age. It seems to be mostly
how to remediate problems with judiciously designed horse shoes. Lots of
illustrations and an index.
Email me off-list if you want it.
How all is well with everyone.
